Strattons is rather proud to be part of the great British carpeting heritage. Based as we are in Shaftesbury, Dorset, we’re very close to Wilton where the very first English carpet factory was built in 1655; superb carpets are still woven there today in the age-old tradition.
Here at Strattons we retail all sorts of carpet types and brands, and have been supplying and fitting carpeting in and around Shaftesbury for more than 27 years. We supply natural and man-made fibre carpets to offices, hotels, public buildings, schools, stately homes, farm houses and cottages – patterned and plain, looped, tufted, twisted, cut pile. You name it, we deliver it and our team of expert carpet fitters are on hand to install it.

Carpets with synthetic fibres have their positives too, and are especially practical in heavy traffic areas and busy rooms, being hardwearing, stain-resistant and easy to clean with a bleach solution. Polypropylene carpets don’t fade or wear quickly, and are extremely resilient to the rigours of daily life.
